Privacy Policy

Last updated 7 October 2026

The short version

  • We collect only what you choose to send us (for example in a form or an email) and a little technical information that every website receives.
  • We use it to reply to you, to do the work you hire us for, to keep this site safe and to improve it. We do not sell your information.
  • Analytics, session recordings and advertising tools stay off until you click Accept in the cookie notice. If you decline, they never load.
  • When we work for you, we may get access to your website, ad accounts and analytics. They stay in your name, we use them only for your project, and we remove our access when the work ends.
  • You can ask to see, correct or delete your information at any time. Write to hello@marketingly.org.

Who we are

Marketingly is a performance marketing agency run as a sole proprietorship by Deepak Kumar, registered in India as a micro enterprise (Udyam registration UDYAM-HR-19-0023166), at #61 New Nanda Colony, Yamunanagar, Haryana 135002, India. In this policy, “we”, “us” and “our” mean Marketingly. For questions about your information, email hello@marketingly.org or call +91 83988 79388.

What we collect, and why

Contact, consultation and quote forms. If you fill in one of our forms, we receive the details you type: usually your name, email address, phone number, website, a monthly budget range if you choose one, and a message. We use them to reply, to prepare a plan or a quote, and to keep a record of the conversation. Each form is saved in our website dashboard and emailed to us.

Booking a call. If you pick a time in the booking calendar on our Book a call page, the booking is made in Google Calendar, a Google service. It receives your name, email address, phone number, website, monthly budget (if you give one) and the time you choose, and it sends you a confirmation with a Google Meet link. We keep the booking in our own Google Calendar so we can prepare and hold the call. The calendar loads only after you press “Show available times”. When it loads, Google may set its own cookies; see Google’s privacy policy.

Emails and calls. If you email hello@marketingly.org or call us, we keep what you send and a note of what we agreed, so we can follow up and do the work properly.

Free SEO check. When you use the free SEO check on our homepage, the web address you type is sent to our server. Our server opens that public page, reads it the way a search engine would, and sends you the result. We do not store the address or the result unless you ask for the full report by entering your email, in which case we keep your email, the address you checked and the result, and email you the report. To limit misuse, we keep a count of checks against your IP address for about an hour.

Results calculator. The calculator runs in your browser. The numbers you move the sliders to are not sent to us.

Google Ads preview tool. The tool runs in your browser. If you press Share, it asks our server to create a short link to your preview and stores that link and the preview data inside it on our server, so the link keeps working. To show website icons, the tool asks Google’s public icon service using the website’s domain name. Do not put confidential text into a shared preview.

Careers. If you apply for a job, we receive your name, email, phone number, the role you want, anything you write and the resume you attach. We use them only to consider your application.

Guest posting. If you pitch or submit an article, we receive your name, email, website and the article or link you send, and we use them to review and, if accepted, publish your work with your name or brand.

Blog comments. Comments on the blog are closed, and pingbacks and trackbacks are switched off. If we ever open comments, we will accept plain text only (no links, HTML or website field) and will store the name, email and comment you submit, plus your IP address and browser details to help prevent spam.

Server logs. Like most websites, our web server and our security and speed provider keep standard logs such as your IP address, browser, device and the pages requested. We use them to keep the site secure and working and to find faults. We do not use them to identify visitors.

When we work for you

If you hire us, we may receive and handle information about your business and your customers, for example access to your website, Google Analytics, Search Console, Google Ads, social media accounts, email lists or lead data. We use it only to deliver your project. Accounts stay in your name, you can see what we do, and we ask you to remove our access when the work ends. We keep your business information confidential and we do not use it for any other client or for our own marketing. If you give us personal information about your customers, you confirm you have the right to share it with us for this purpose. Your quote or agreement may add detail to this section.

Analytics, recordings and ads on this website

Only if you accept. The first time you visit, a notice asks you to Accept or Decline. Until you accept, we load no analytics, no session recording and no advertising tools. If you decline, they never load. Your answer is kept in your browser. To change it later, use the “Cookie settings” link in the footer.

If you accept, we load Google Tag Manager, which loads the tools below:

  • Google Analytics counts visits, which pages are read, how people arrive and roughly where they are, and what device they use, so we can see what helps visitors and what does not.
  • A privacy-friendly analytics tool counts visits, pages read, where visitors come from and what device they use. It does not use cookies and does not follow you from site to site.
  • Microsoft Clarity replays a visit as an anonymous recording and builds heatmaps from where people click, scroll and move the mouse. We watch these to spot pages that confuse people and to fix them. Text typed into a form field is hidden, and we never use the recordings to work out who you are. Microsoft processes this data for us under its privacy statement.

We do not currently run advertising or retargeting tags on this site. If that changes, we will update this policy and the cookie notice first.

These tools may set cookies or use similar technologies. See our Cookie Policy for the full list, how long they last and how to block them. This applies to the website only. We do not use these tools to look inside any client account.

Email we send you

We send you emails to reply to your enquiry, to send what you asked for (such as a plan, a quote or a report) and to run your project. We do not send marketing newsletters unless you ask for them, and every marketing email has an unsubscribe link. Our website sends its emails through Brevo, an email delivery service, and the emails you send to hello@marketingly.org are forwarded to our own mailbox by Cloudflare Email Routing.

Who we share it with

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with providers that help us run the business, and only as much as they need:

  • Hosting and security. Our website runs on a cloud server. Cloudflare provides our domain name service, security and speed network, and email forwarding.
  • Customer records. Zoho CRM keeps the enquiries you send through our forms (name, email, phone, website and your message) so we can reply and keep track of the conversation.
  • Email delivery. Brevo sends the emails our website generates, such as the confirmation you get after sending a form.
  • Booking calendar. Google Calendar and Google Meet handle bookings and calls made through the Book a call page.
  • Analytics and recordings, only if you accept. Google (Tag Manager, Analytics), Microsoft (Clarity) and a privacy-friendly analytics provider.
  • Browser notifications, only if you allow them. Notix sends the notifications. We note which part of the site you were on when you subscribed, so we can send you relevant notifications. The prompt can appear a few seconds after you arrive, unless you decline in the cookie notice. If you do not click Decline, we treat that as accepting the notification prompt, but nothing is sent until you click Allow in your browser. You can stop notifications at any time in your browser’s site settings.
  • Work tools. Software we use for the work you hire us for, such as Google Workspace, spreadsheet and document tools, and our own tools such as SEOSage.
  • Payments and accounts. If you pay us through a bank or payment provider, they handle your payment details, and we never see a card number. We share invoices and records with our accountant and tax authorities when the law requires.
  • Legal reasons. We may disclose information if the law, a court or a government authority requires it, or to protect our rights, our clients and others from harm.

Each provider handles information under its own privacy terms. Some are located outside India, so your information may be processed in other countries. We choose providers with reasonable safeguards for the information they handle.

How long we keep it

  • Enquiries and quotes that do not become a project: up to 3 years, then we delete them.
  • Client project records, agreements and invoices: for as long as we work together and then for the period the law requires for accounts and tax (generally up to 8 years in India).
  • Job applications: up to 1 year, or sooner if you ask.
  • Free SEO check requests: not stored, unless you ask for the report, in which case up to 12 months.
  • Shared ad preview links: until you ask us to remove them.
  • Server logs: up to 90 days.
  • Analytics and recording data: as set in the tool, usually up to 14 months for Google Analytics and up to 13 months for Microsoft Clarity.

Security

We use reasonable measures to protect your information: encrypted connections (HTTPS), access limited to people who need it, strong passwords and two-step sign-in where it is available, and regular software updates. No method of storing or sending information is completely secure, so we cannot promise absolute security. If we ever learn of a breach that affects you, we will tell you and the authorities as the law requires.

Your choices and rights

You can ask us to tell you what personal information we hold about you, to correct it, to delete it, or to stop using it. You can withdraw your consent whenever you like, for example by declining cookies or by asking us to stop emailing you. You can also ask for a copy of your information in a common format. Email hello@marketingly.org and we will reply within a reasonable time, normally within 30 days.

If you are in India, your rights under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 include access, correction, erasure, grievance redressal and nominating another person to act for you. If you are in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom or Switzerland, you also have the right to object to or restrict certain uses of your information and to complain to your local data protection authority. If you live in California, we do not sell or share your personal information as those terms are used in California law.

To block tracking yourself, you can decline the cookie notice, use your browser’s privacy settings or a content blocker, or install Google’s Analytics opt-out add-on. To manage Google ads, visit adssettings.google.com.

Children

Our website and services are for businesses and are not aimed at children under 18. We do not knowingly collect information from children. If you think a child has sent us information, tell us and we will delete it.

Links to other sites

Our pages and articles link to other websites and tools. We do not control them and are not responsible for their privacy practices. Please read their policies.

Grievances

If you have a concern about how we handle your information, write to Deepak Kumar, Marketingly, #61 New Nanda Colony, Yamunanagar, Haryana 135002, India, or email hello@marketingly.org with the subject “Privacy”. We acknowledge your message within 7 days and aim to resolve it within 30 days.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as our work or the law changes. The “last updated” date at the top of the page shows when it last changed. If a change is important, we will say so on the site.
